Life verse: Matthew 5:14-16 – “You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lamp stand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

Testimony: I grew up in a religious home, attending religious school. We attended church each week, sometimes multiple times in a week. When I was seventeen, I was trying to find my place in life. A friend challenged me with the question, “If you were to die tonight, where would you go?” My answer was based on my denomination, not on scripture! In fact, when I was asked, “Where would you find that answer in the Bible?” I realized after 12 years of formal religious education and church, I had never opened a Bible on my own. It had always been interpreted for me. I was directed to John 3:16. That night, in June of 1974, I gave my life to Christ.

Who are the important people in your life? My wife and kids

What do you like to do in your free time? Family, Fishing, Sports, Handyman Stuff

What do you love to do in ministry? Share my faith and walk believers through navigating life

What is something most people don’t know about you? I love to spend time with people who don’t follow Jesus.

How did you first come to Village? I was invited by a friend.  Why did you stay? God’s call on my life to serve here
