Life verse: Philippians 3:12 – “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

Testimony: It was at a high school summer camp that I heard the good news that Christ paid the price for my failures. I gave my life to Christ that night, and He has been my Master, my Savior ever since. 

Who are the important people in your life? My wife, my kids, my parents, my favorite authors (Eugene Peterson, etc) and my close brothers in the Lord

What is your day job? Pastor/Teacher

What do you like to do in your free time? Tennis, kayak, bike, garden, read, travel, watch sports, write

What do you love to do in ministry? Preach the Word, lead

What is something most people don’t know about you?  I love crazy comedy like The Office and 30 Rock

How did you first come to Village? Why did you stay? I came in 2000—stayed because I was called to be pastor
