Life Verse:  Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”

Testimony: I was born into a loving Christian home. My parents taught me about God and his great love for me and world. When I was 4 years old my mother asked me if I wanted to be a part of God’s family like she and daddy were. I loved my parents very much and I wanted to be a part of God’s family also. She explained that God’s son Jesus came to this earth as a man, He died on a cross for my sins, and He rose again and was now in heaven with God. To be a part of his family I needed to believe that Jesus was God’s son and ask Him to come into my life and forgive me of the wrong things I had done. I asked Jesus to come into my life that day and I will never forget the joy and peace that filled my heart.  That peace and joy has been with me throughout my life as I have become a Christ follower. He is the one who give life eternal and a hope for the future.

Important people in my life: Besides Jesus, my husband Bob, my family and my grandchildren, friends, people I work with and my ministry team.

My day job:  Work at the church, visitation, hospital visits, and ministry related activities.

Free time: I like spending time with family, especially caring for my grandchildren, being with friends, reading, golfing and watching sporting events.

What I enjoy in Ministry: I really enjoy meeting one on one with women.  Listening and praying with them.  Seeing women grow in their relationship with the Lord and using their gifts for His Glory.

Something that people don’t know about me:  I like holding baby Koala’s.

How I came to Village: Looking for a church that preached the Word, and people that were friendly and that we could find connection to.  We stayed:  Because the Word was preached and we made good connections here.
