Overview
Our Middle School Ministry invites 6th through 8th graders to come learn about God, study His Word, participate in fun activities and meet new people.
Program
Weekend Worship – Velocity
Saturdays 5:30pm / Sundays. 10:30am
Middle School meets Upstairs in North Village. Velocity is an environment where students can come discover God’s direction for their lives and be challenged to respond with passion.
Monthly Events – 7-11′s (Sept. – June.)
Special monthly events that start at 7 pm and end at 11 pm provide students with an opportunity to invite their friends to church and to build relationships.
Life Groups (Sept. – May)
Middle School Life Groups meet on Wednesday nights during the school year from 7 pm to 8:30 pm in North Village. Students are challenged to take their faith to the next level in a small group setting as they build a deeper relationship with God and build good accountability friendships with others.
Middle School Life Groups happen every wednesday night from 7pm to 8:30pm. All Middle School students are encouraged to come. Contact Dan for more information.
Events
There is no Middle School 7-11 scheduled for the month of March. Coming in April, 30 hour famine. Check back for more details.
Get Involved Locally and Globally
Student Ministries Coffee Fundraiser
Middle School students of Village will be selling 1 lb. bags of Longbottom’s coffee for $12 per one pound bag, to help offset the cost of Summer Camp. Payment envelopes will be available in the Village Cafe for you to place your money in and pick up your coffee.
Fill out the order form below to ensure that we have the coffee you want. Orders made before 5pm on Tuesday will be available the following weekend.
Global Ministry
Malaria Nets
During the 2010/2011 school year MS and HS student offerings, from the weekends, will be going toward the purchase of Malaria Nets in Africa. Malaria is an Epidemic that can be stopped and we have the opportunity to be a part of that. It costs us $10 to save one life by providing a them with a net designed to keep out the mosquitoes.

Comments: This is a great book on servant leadership.
One Minute Bible for Students- Doug Fields
Comments: This is a nice daily devotional to have students begin practicing the habit of daily Bible reading.
