The uniqueness of a Village short-term experience
Our
focus is to reach the most spiritually marginalized people in the world. Village teams go specifically to people groups where God’s Word and His message are not readily available.
Months of
comprehensive training is designed to develop cultural sensitivity, expand worldviews, build faith, nurture friendships, and empower individuals to serve.
Long-term relationships overseas allow for progressive community development and meaningful friendships. Our teams work closely with national leadership and volunteer only at their invitation.
Intentional planning provides for cutting edge service opportunities in the areas of technology, community health development, leadership advancement, children-at-risk, business, family life issues, and much more.
Intensive prayer efforts support every team. Whether we are seeking God about a new experience or celebrating the success of a team, prayer is a priority.

More About Where Village Goes
South Asia: India dominates South Asia and the Indian Ocean. Nearly 16% of the world’s population is Indian, living on 2.4% of the world’s land surface. In the year 2020, India will become the most populous country in the world with nearly 1.3 billion people. A 1991 survey identified 4,635 communities or people groups. In all, there are 1,652 languages spoken in India.
Lebanon: The Republic of Lebanon is a state in the Eastern Mediterranean. It is a fertile and mountainous enclave between Israel and Syria. Once a French-mandated territory, Lebanon became an independent republic in 1941, with a constitution based on a delicate balance between the 17 recognized religious communities.
The mass influx of Palestinian refugees between 1948 and 1976 upset the status quo, bringing a civil war. A measure of peace wrought by the Syrian army in 1992 opened the way for a new government, though still under Syrian oversight.
Lebanon has religious freedom, making it the only Arab state that is not officially Muslim. However, personal conversion to Christ has immense social consequences.
