Pastor of Spiritual Formation
Carlos is originally from Los Angeles and moved to the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Andi, and two children, Chloe and Joaquin in 2012 after an extended season of ministry in Northern Ireland. Following undergraduate studies in communication and music, he completed a MA in Leadership Studies with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation.
He serves the Village community as one of its primary worship leaders, and has oversight of “The Living Room” (Village’s young adult community). Early in 2015, Carlos became the Pastor of Spiritual Formation, where in addition to his existing responsibilities, is helping lead the effort in guiding people into the process of being conformed in the likeness of Christ for the sake of others.
When not at Village, you can probably find him in a darkened theatre, listening to live music, or discovering new places to eat in the city with his family.
“I love the diverse group of people that I get to work alongside of, and excited to minister in a context that values creativity, and encourages artists to use their gifts to bring life, beauty, and redemption to our world.”
