About MacSword

MacSword is a free & open-source application for research and study of God and His Word. It is developed specifically for Macintosh computers running Mac OS X.

MacSword allows you to read and browse many different bibles translations in different languages from Hebrew to Albanian. As well as reading devotionals, commentaries, dictionaries and lexicons, it also supports searching and advanced features such as services so that you can access the Bible in any program.

		Tool tips for strong numbers In this screen shot you can see the Modules window, from which installed Bibles can be opened. The King James Version with Strongs is currently open, and a tool tip is displayed for the strong number that the mouse cursor is over.
		Multiple languages This screen shot shows the Bible displayed in Chinese with an English devotional simultaneously displayed.
		Bookmark the those verses There is also a bookmark drawer to quickly jump back to verses you've stored. You can highlight bookmarks so that they appear highlighted in the bible you are reading.
		Find what you seek Search an entire Bible for the words you are looking for. Look through excerpts with those words highlighted. Double-click a verse to go directly to that text.
		Read some books Read books like The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan and good reads by G. K. Chesterton and others.
