Our Vision

Village is a church where:

 Failure connects with grace ...
    as we are all welcomed into God's arms, despite our sins.

 Cultures connect in unity ...
    as all people are included in our family.

 Emptiness connects with fullness ...

as we find our deepest longings satisfied in worshiping God.

 Christ connects with world ...

as we spread God's Truth through our words and deeds, person to person.

 Gifts connect with opportunity ...

as we use our God-given talents to meet needs.

Ministry Core Values

Our Family is committed to:

 responding to God in worship for who He is, what He has done and what He will do;
    (Mark 12:29-30; John 4:24; 1 Corinthians 14:15; Exodus 24:7)

 actively loving everyone in response to Christ's love;
    (Mark 12:31; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7; John 3:16; 13:34-35; 1 John 4:7-12)

 Bible centered preaching and teaching;
    (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16; 4:2)

 evangelizing and discipling all cultures and generations locally and globally;
    (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)

 Christ-like living in everything we do;
    (Galatians 2:20; 5:16-25; Colossians 1:10; Philippians 1:21)

 discovering and exercising our spiritual gifts;
    (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12:6; Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Peter 4:10)

 praying for the advancement of God's Kingdom.
    (Luke 11:1-4; Colossians 4:2; Ephesians 6:18)

Profile of a Villager

We are all in process. All of us are on a journey toward spiritual maturity. The "Profile of a Villager" is a summary of characteristics that mark a spiritually mature believer. Our mandate from Scripture is to press on towards these characteristics until we reach maturity in our faith and come to the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:12-13).

You may want to look through the list and evaluate your own spiritual maturity and then set some goals for how you'd like to grow in the coming year. Maturity is a community endeavor. We are here to serve you and encourage you in your growth. Let us know how we can help.
